Course Description
Last year we piloted an online Language Arts program called StudySync at 7 Hills and the learning curve was steep for both staff and students. It has been revamped over the summer into version 2 and will be the cornerstone of my L.A. curriculum this year. The focus is comprehending increasingly complex texts and responding in a variety of ways; independently, in pairs, small groups and whole class. Students are encouraged to read and critique each other's responses, providing a deeper connection to both what they read and write.
