Mountain Bike Race @ Union Hill

Union Hill Elementary School, 10879 Bartlett Dr, Grass Valley, CA 95945, USA

All races start at 4:15-4:30pm. The courses are open for pre-riding from 3:30-4:00 the day of the event. 

The day before the event, pre-riding begins at 4:30pm and athletes must have coach/adult supervision while on other school's campuses.

All riders must wear a helmet when they are on their bicycle. Failure to do so could result in disqualification or not being permitted to participate in the event.

Race details: (laps and miles depends on the course)
4th grade boys/girls ~ 1+ mile/laps
5th & 6th grade boys/girls - 2+ miles/laps
7th & 8th grade boys/girls - 3+ miles/laps
OPEN (anyone who wants to be most competitive and ride more) - 4+ mile/laps

Racers can always race to a higher grade-level but cannot race below their grade-level but cannot race below their grade-level. Racers who are consistently out-performing their same age peers will be coached to race up.
