The Promotion Ceremony is on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 7:00pm at the Nevada Union High School football field. Students need to be at the Nevada Union football field at 6:20pm. If you have elderly or disabled guests, please plan to arrive early. ADA parking is available near the field. Limited parking is available in the main parking area, however there will be parking available in the Don Baggett Theatre parking lot, the District Office parking lot, the Baptist Church parking lot across from the high school, and on the street in front of the High School.

Promotion attire: Overly formal dress (tuxedos and formal gowns) is inappropriate for eighth grade promotion. We discourage denim, sneakers, collarless shirts, shorts, and other informal dress. We would like to see skirts, blouses, or dresses appropriate for school dances or weddings and dressier shirts, khakis and shoes. Ties and jackets are optional. Straps and spaghetti straps are allowed. Strapless or backless dresses are NOT allowed.

The Promotion Dance will be immediately following the Promotion Ceremony from 8:15-10:00pm in the gym at Seven Hills School. You will need to transport your student from Nevada Union High School to Seven Hills. There will be food, games and other activities as well as dancing available for entertainment. We are looking forward to this being an exciting, memorable experience for all. Your assistance and suggestions are welcomed and encouraged. This end of the year celebration is for eighth grade students in good academic standing. Students need to be picked up from the dance by 10:00pm.
